The Spirit of Diwali-- Festival of Lights

Diwali is one of the most important and widely celebrated festivals in India. In this comic strip, four cousins experience the true magic of Diwali.
They step outside to decorate their home with diyas, lanterns, and garlands of marigolds. Tora, the eldest, carefully lights the diyas, while Gabriel creates a vibrant rangoli with beautiful colors. Bobela looks after the youngest, Jiyon, as laughter and excitement fill the air.
While arranging the diyas, Tora spots a box of sparklers hidden in the bushes. Delighted, she and Gabriel begin to play, and soon Bobela lifts Jiyon onto his shoulders to join in. Together, the four cousins hold their sparklers high and make a wish — for the light of compassion, joy, and peace to shine brighter than anything in the world.

Moral: The true spirit of Diwali lies in the light we share — through love, compassion, joy, and peace.

Meeko- The Tale of The Missing Collar

Meeko, with a strong sense of curiosity and the heart of a gentlemanly house cat, steps out into the unknown after noticing the front door left wide open. Excited by the world beyond his doorstep, he ventures out and meets a group of streetwise cats, hoping they’ll become his new friends.
But things don’t go quite as he imagined. The other cats mock his elegant bow tie and try to tear it off, leaving Meeko feeling out of place and embarrassed.
That’s when he realizes that not every adventure leads where you expect and sometimes, the greatest comfort comes from the places and people — who truly love you. With that lesson in his heart, Meeko finds his way back home, greeted with warmth, cuddles, and the familiar sound of love.

Moral: Even the most curious hearts discover that home isn’t just a place — it’s where you’re loved for who you are.

Eymet, is a beautiful medieval town in the south-west of France. As the sun sets, lanterns and candles begin to light up the cobbled streets, casting a golden shimmer over ancient walls and stone fountains. Visitors are given delicate lanterns to carry, and soon, the whole town becomes warm and looks enchanted.

As our tour guide explained that this town is very fertile, it is built on the banks of the Dropt river. So everything in this little town was blooming, even the corn fields looked so lush.
It was no secret that I was mesmerized by the beauty all around. Every corner seems to bloom with life.
The tour guide goes on to share a joke and says “Eymet is so fertile that if you place a walking stick in the ground, it will grow.” I laughed, realizing that in a place this magical, it might just be true.

Moral: If you wander with open eyes and an open heart you will find that every new place holds a piece of magic waiting to be discovered.
